Digital Channels Reaction Countless users and merchants are posting online stating that platform listings now display a different size category versus the original listing as a result of the reclassification. The company said the new system was more in line with comparable marketplaces. The platform has recommended to review their products and adjust the sizing manually if necessary, causing user dissatisfaction. Sizing System Updates Before the change, the sizes had both a single numeric size and a letter, like S/8 or M/10. The revised method features a letter with a size spectrum like S/UK 8-10. With some products, the size labels have been reassigned - for example a size L was previously a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18. Shopper Stories One content creator, who creates plus-size fashion videos, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult". "Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," the way the service now categorizes. Another user, from Glasgow, stated items she posted featuring size 14 markings were displaying on the service as measurements 20-22. "Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they will likely be quite upset," she explained. Manual Updates A different user, located in England, said she had been left angered due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizing for "all her products". "This situation is especially annoying, because of my ongoing medical condition and platform income has been essential after experiencing income reduction," she explained.
